You can permanently delete your VeriDates account and associated personal data in the app or through this page. Do not include a password, verification code, or government ID in an email.

Delete in the app

Open Profile, scroll to the account actions, tap Delete account, and complete the two confirmation steps. This cannot be undone. You are always welcome to create a new account later.

Request deletion by email

Email contact@veridatesapp.com with the subject Delete my VeriDates account.
Include the email address or phone number on the account and your display name.
Send from an address or phone number associated with the account when possible. We may request limited information to verify that the account is yours.

What is deleted

Account and profile information, discovery preferences, likes, matches, messages, blocks, and profile-associated reports where deletion is appropriate.
Profile media, including the main profile photo, gallery photos, and any saved video intro.
Face-Match and ID-Flex status and the account-linked verification records that support those statuses, subject to the limited exceptions below.

Limited retention

We may retain the minimum records needed for fraud prevention, safety investigations, payment disputes, legal obligations, or enforcement of our Terms. We may retain anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you. A third-party identity provider may retain records under its own legal and retention obligations; VeriDates does not retain government-ID images, document video, or selfie captures from that flow.

Timing

After we verify the request, we generally complete deletion within 30 days. Backup systems may take longer to expire.

Google Play purchases

Deleting an account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. See our Refund Policy.
